SPH Analytics Awarded PQRS Vendor Approvals

Action analytics leader, SPH Analytics, announced their approval by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) to administer the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) for Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) survey, as well as approval to submit PQRS Registry measures to CMS as a qualified reporting vendor.

The CAHPS for PQRS Survey measures and compares the patient’s experience with their primary healthcare provider and the provider office/practice. PQRS is a quality measurement reporting program managed by CMS. Healthcare providers are able to partner with SPH Analytics to conduct the CAHPS for PQRS Survey and to participate in the 2015 PQRS Registry data submission.

“We are proud to offer physicians an all-in-one solution for administering the CAHPS for PQRS surveys and submitting PQRS Registry scores,” said Al Vega, CEO of SPH Analytics. “We partner with providers to manage the data collection and submission process so they can focus on providing optimal care to their patients. In addition, SPH Analytics will soon be offering a Quality Measures analytics solution that will enable health systems and large medical practices to monitor individual physician and group performance in real time. Orchestrate QMD will enable clinicians to proactively address and benchmark PQRS and other patient care, clinical integration, healthcare transformation, and administrative measures.”

SPH Analytics is a recognized CMS-approved survey vendor for the Hospital CAHPS (HCAHPS), Medicare CAHPS, CAHPS for ACOs, ICH CAHPS, and Medicare HOS surveys. The company is also NCQA-certified to conduct the Commercial and Medicaid CAHPS and CAHPS PCMH surveys. The CAHPS for PQRS survey complements the company’s current service offerings and commitment to positive healthcare transformation through healthcare surveys, patient outreach and engagement, and action analytics.

CAHPS is a program and registered trademark of the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
