Symphony Teleca Bolsters Software Products and Platform (SPP) Division with Strategic New Hires

Symphony Teleca Corporation (STC), a global innovation and development services company, today announced two key additions to its Software Products and Platform (SPP) division: Udaykumar Nalinasekaran as Head of Global Delivery and Sunil Oberoi as SVP and Global Business Head for Retail, Brands and Omni-channel Commerce.

“I am looking forward to helping Symphony Teleca to establish a strong presence in the retail, brand and omni-channel commerce space”

Uday joins Symphony Teleca from HCL Technologies where he worked for 30 years. Most recently, Uday served as HCL’s Executive Vice President leading a $600M business line. He is credited with building significant delivery organizations, including a $100M annual run rate offshore delivery center for the worldwide leader in networking as well as one of the largest outsourced relationships for a leading provider of communications services. With his wealth of knowledge and experience across product engineering, IT services and process excellence, Uday will spearhead the consolidation of all SPP delivery across ISV, Enterprise IT and Infrastructure services with a view to build end-to-end industry specific vertical solutions. Uday will also be responsible for coaching the company’s next-generation of delivery leaders.

Sunil, a veteran in retail, brands and omni-channel commerce, brings expertise in business and technology to this new role, where he will be responsible for identifying and driving growth in chosen market segments by enhancing STC’s domain competency, enterprise market positioning and vertical specific value propositions. Sunil comes to STC from HCL Technologies where he managed the company’s strategy and execution of commerce business globally. Prior to this position, Sunil worked to drive high growth in HCL’s retail segment in Americas, adding a number of Fortune 500 logos to the practice. Before that, Sunil was a practice leader with Deloitte Consulting and held several leadership positions with Wipro to build its retail and consumer business in North America.

“We are thrilled to have both Uday and Sunil on board and look forward to their contribution in leading STC’s foray into the enterprise segment,” said Sandeep Kalra, EVP and General Manager of the SPP Division, Symphony Teleca. “We feel confident that Uday will build on our delivery capabilities, while Sunil’s demonstrated leadership will be key to STC securing a strong foothold in retail, brands and omni-channel commerce as we charge into these vertical markets.”

“I look forward to helping the SPP division deliver next generation industry solutions leveraging the various building blocks across Symphony Teleca,” says Uday. “I believe that the next level of growth in enterprise IT will be led by new age companies like Symphony Teleca, leveraging its core product engineering tenets coupled with the cloud, mobile and Infrastructure capabilities making us even more strategic to our existing and prospective customers.”

“I am looking forward to helping Symphony Teleca to establish a strong presence in the retail, brand and omni-channel commerce space,” said Sunil. “It is an exciting time to join the company as it makes its foray into enterprise vertical markets leveraging its strong capabilities across ISV’s, enterprise and analytics customer base.”
